Gaia - 2020 - Masters Group Project
Main Roles: Director, 3D Animator,Compositing /// 'Gaia' is the story of an Australian Koala. In a traditional wooden theatre set, we follow our puppet koala (Gaia) to discover how innocent and playful she is when she comes down from her tree to investigate some strange lights and sounds from the forest. Soon she realises is a dangerous fire, and when she tries to escape she realizes there is no way out. Gaia stands for 'Mother Earth'. This piece is a social tribute for those animals lost in the Australian bush fires during this season. We want to thank our fire and volunteer service for conserving a vital part of our planet. There is no Planet B, and it is everyone's responsibility to take care of it. The Butterfly Effect - NCCA 2019 Graduation Short
Undergraduate NCCA Graduation Short Main Roles: Producer, Animator, Compositing /// The story follows the spirit guardian of the forest, Veles, its struggle to protect the environment against a relentless enemy: humans. Veles is guided by a butterfly to find the cause of the destruction of the environment. He is determined to stop the deforestation at any cost. Deforestation and wildlife endangerment are a couple of contemporary problems mankind has been trying to stop for decades. As the butterfly effect, human actions have built faster and faster to destroy Nature, but similarly “Great things are done by a series of small things brought together." - Vincent Van Gogh We aim to motivate the audience to take a proactive attitude towards protecting and caring for the environment. Therefore, we hope to reach out to both adults and teens in a 1 and a half minutes animation that shows the destructiveness of humans in contrast to the power of regeneration of nature.
